My kiwi life

I have been trying to write a song about standing up for yourself, about overcoming fear and about dealing with bullies. This was a song for the victims of domestic violence but it could be any victim. But with a few changes it became a song for the All Blacks. My heroes. My Gods.  

I like the chorus, I think it’s a great reply to that Aussie, Aussie Aussie oink, oink, oink ‘song’.

For the tune, I kinda had the tune “we will rock you’ in my head at the time, but could work with a rock tune or something more like an anthem.
